This curriculum has been developed based on the Ministry of Education's Notice No. 2019-189 (July 24, 2019) regarding the kindergarten curriculum, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education’s Guidelines for the Design and Operation of the Daegu Future Competency Education Program for Kindergarten (Notice No. 2025-1), and the 2025 Daegu Early Childhood Education Plan. It is tailored to the specific circumstances of our kindergarten, with the overall educational direction grounded in the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum.

1. 01The 2025 academic curriculum of Daegu Seodong Kindergarten is developed through a democratic process involving all teachers who contribute their expertise, based on the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum, the 2025 Daegu Future Competency Education, and the 2025 Daegu Early Childhood Education Plan. The curriculum is creatively tailored to fit the specific circumstances of our kindergarten.
2. 02The length of education is one year, with a minimum of 180 instructional days per year.
3. 03The daily schedule is organized around 4 to 5 hours of instruction.
4. 04The five curriculum areas are flexibly and integratively organized, focusing on play according to timing, situation, and needs.
5. 05The annual instructional days and daily teaching hours are determined by considering the guidelines for the Daegu Future Competency Education curriculum, as well as the needs and demands of the kindergarten, children, and parents.
6. 06The daily routine includes ample time for outdoor play to ensure children have sufficient opportunities for play.
7. 07The curriculum is designed and implemented to prevent discrimination based on gender, physical characteristics, disabilities, religion, family, or cultural background.
8. 08Adjustments are made according to each child’s developmental level and degree of disability.
9. 09The curriculum is operated based on cooperation and participation with families and the local community.
10. 10Teacher training is provided to continuously improve the implementation of the Nuri Curriculum.

2. 02The regular curriculum is conducted from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
3. 03The after-school program operates between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The total daily attendance, including regular curriculum hours, is up to 8 hours and may be individually adjusted by up to 2 hours with parental consent.
